i had my lap 3 weeks ago and they used dissolvable stitches but they don’t seem to be dissolving 😅 i just wanted to ask people’s experience with these because i assumed they would fall off by now and i'm not sure whether to go to the doctors or walk in centre for advice x

mine lasted weeks. The nurse said some are designed to last 7 weeks or so. I panicked to but they came out in their own time. Hope the lap went well. X

I had surgery just over eight weeks ago. My dissolvable stitches are only just starting to disappear. I was a little concerned about the length of time, nurse advised they can take up to three months.
