Hi there.I was diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 44 years old stage 3 through laparscorpy surgery, where I had an endometrioma cyst on my left ovary. Since then, sugery will be nearly two years since I completely struggled to come to terms with having endometriosis, I've changed my diet by going on a diet and non dairy which have helped with my symptoms. Also, I had counselling for my endometriosis, which has helped to talk to someone. Now that I feel that I am in a good place I feel I would like to try for a baby, but I maybe too late as I am going to 46 next month and too old to try for one now. This month, I had my period like normal every month, except for the pain that comes with endometriosis, as you ladies know. But I am left confused why I have not olvated I had lower cramps, bloating, breast tenderness, plevis pain etc. But no olvation discharge? I wanted to ask you, lovely ladies, if this is a sign of perimenopause or premenopause? If so, as anyone got pregnant, going through the perimenopause at 46 years old? Also I do have a few symptoms like not sleeping well and feel hot all night. I had hot flashes night since my 20 years due to inblanced hormones. I would be very grateful for your help.
Thank u 💓

Hi I am 42 and have some months where I have a period and some where I don’t. I also have hot flushes when hormonal. It’s horrible. I believe if you haven’t had a period for 12 months you may be at the start of the menopause.
I had the blood test. To check my levels and see if I was menopausal. Seemingly these tests are a waste of time as it depends on what time of the month it is.
Have a look at Dr Louise Newson which gives you lots of advice regarding menopause.
Sorry I can’t help with fertility, I was told when I was diagnosed aged 35 to try if I wanted a child, as it would be very hard for me anyway, I decided not to put myself through that. I was so ill and couldn’t look after myself let alone someone else x
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I know it's horrible having hot flashes at night, having endo and on top of everything the possibility going through perimenopause I am sorry you are going through perimenopause so young and will definitely look up Dr Louise Newson. Thank you 💖 once again.
I'm 47 and retry sure perimenopsusal. I am on desogestral but still having periods. This month really quite heavy compared to the last 3 which were fairly light. Night sweats intermittently, brain fog, trouble sleeping and a feeling of anxiousness for no reason 🤦I'm stage 4 with adhesions and ademenoysis.
Thank you so so much for taking the time to reply and tell me your symptoms, it gives me idea now what I might be dealing with. I am so sorry you have stage 4 endometrios. I hope you are doing ok.Thank you once again xx.
