disappointed with symptoms still after 2 surgeries :(

I’ve recently had 2 surgeries, one in January where they removed a small amount of endo and then a more complex surgery 4 weeks after with a specialist endo surgeon. I’m now 5 weeks post op and still suffering. I think my period might be due soon but not sure as the surgeries had messed things up a bit. I didn’t have the coil fitted at the time as we want to try for another baby now I’ve had the surgery but now I’m thinking just to go back on medication and just be grateful I have one child.

Did it take a while for other people’s symptoms to improve?

I know it doesn’t feel like it but it’s early days. It took 12 weeks for me to feel remotely normal and my first periods and ovulations had me worried I’d put myself through all that for nothing. Give yourself time it takes times for all that internal healing to happen.

Hey, 5 weeks is really early from major surgery. I had a lot of endo removed and honestly didn't notice any improvement until about 6 mths after surgery. Hang in there. Sending healing vibes
