Constant nausea and upset tummy?

I have experienced a constant nausea that ranges from faintly queasy to ‘I’m going to be sick’, as well as abdominal cramping and poor digestion since my symptoms started showing, and it is only worsening. I have had many tests (blood tests, stool samples, abdominal ultrasounds, and a flexible sig) which all show nothing wrong with my GI tract. I do not have IBS or other similar stomach complaints.

Is this normal for endo? Does anyone else experience this? How can I help this?

Sorry, a very late reply, don’t know if I can be much help.

Buscopan tablets can help with the cramping, from your GP. Even if you don’t have IBS they can help, Your GP can also give you medication for nausea, to take when it’s bad,

Ginger is quite good for nausea -in biscuits or tea. Even just steeping fresh ginger in some boiled water -add a little honey.

Have you had any changes in medication since your symptoms developed? In particular opiate type pain killers quite commonly cause nausea, but your GP should have picked that up. Or started hormone treatment?

If you have not had any cause found, sorry but you just need to push your GP to pursue this, maybe with (re)referral to GI outpatients. It may or may not be related to the endo. Personally I haven’t heard of this as a symptom but there are many different presentations.

Hope things improve for you xx

I had another thought about speaking to a dietitian about cutting out different foods to see if any of them are triggering it.
