Hi , I'm joining from ireland hope that's OK, I had laparoscopy and diagnoses last August, like many others it was endo and it had fused to bowel ,twisted ovary , cysts on right ovary , and pushing uterus against my back , and they said they think it could be adamiosis in the womb, they inserted a coil also while doing the laparoscopy, they said it woukx lighten the period which it has ,but I'm gaining weight by the minute and just can't shift it really struggling with that at the the moment.

Hello I have endo and adenomyosis too, I gained weight when I was on the decepeptyl injections, also when on HRT. Any form of hormonal treatment adds pounds onto the scales regardless of what I eat or don’t eat. I’m now off all that medication and I am slimmer now. Are you on hormone treatment?

Hi thanks for your response, decapeptyl has stopped thank god, it was only for 3months and i was very down i suffered a medically induced depression, I have coil inserted and still on hrt patches , have an appointment to discuss possibility of having hysterectomy..

I know what you mean with the decepeptyl I was on it 8 months with a monthly injection and my mental state was horrific x

Its shocking, I really don't think it should be used to treat women, I'm tired of all the prodding and poking , just want to draw a line under it and move on . I hope they will do hysterectomy and all will be well 🙏 did you get something sorted?

I’m ok at the moment, always up and down, had a bad period in December and had to get help from Gp as I was flooding through my clothes. Sick of being a woman at times. I have had 2 endometrial ablations for heavy periods and labour pain and it does help me x
