Pregnant after Prostap

Hello, please did anyone ever got pregnant after prostap? I'm about to start the monthly injection for treatment of endometriosis and quite worried since the wait list for surgery is quite far.

I'll appreciate any information you have.

Hey lovely, I would suggest you do your own research before starting the injection, I had the first and only prostap injection in March 2023, my body hasn't been the same since, body is constantly aching all over (this is when my extreme fatigue started). This also started my urinary incontinence issues, and as per usual the consultant who suggested this injection didn't tell me about side effects and gp wouldn't believe me when I said this all started after the injection. Oh, I am now anaemic, too. I feel like Consultants and GPs love pushing pills, coil, injection etc on us endo patients, but have no idea about the long term effects themselves, they need to be sacked! I've had stage for endo for years but only officially diagnosed 1.5yrs ago, only endo symptom i had was extreme period pains, all my other symptoms started after taking advice from the Consultant and trying the pills, coil, depo injection, prostap injection etc.

I would 100% suggest do your own research

I'm on prostrap injections I can't comment on getting pregnant. But I've had no issues with side effects. X

Hi. I had prostap for 6 months in 2011 followed by surgery in preparation for trying for a baby (stage 4 endo). I had a beautiful baby boy in 2014 after two rounds of IVF.

I’m now on prostap again and have been for a year and it’s been the best thing ever, I feel so much better and the side effects are much better than they were last time I had it.
