combined pill or pop

after my lap in Nov I tried the combined pill but it just flared up all my symptoms to the point I had to stop taking it

If I try the pop (progesterone only), from your experience did it help symptoms more?

I had the worst side effects on a small pill. I was on it for 6 months and was bleeding for 4 months straight, I gained a lot of weight, got inflammation in my sternum, back pain, shivers, the list goes on... I refused to take it any longer (which my gyne disapproved of saying that I am better on it). She tried to scare me off by saying that if I won't take them I will have to go for a laparoscopy, which I did. During it they found endo and removed it. Anyway, during laparoscopy I refused a coil as well, as it is the same active substance as the pill, but inserted into uterus. I feel better now, although I still deal with some long term side effects.
