MRI after two weeks after lap?

I had my 2nd lap 10 days ago, where they were going to excise the endo, however they said I need an MRI and then a referral to a different surgeon as it's deep infiltrating and on my bowel. I'm really worried now because my MRI is in 3 days, so in terms of NHS wait times atm, this is fast! If they had found anything suspicious would they have told me or just do the tests first?

Sorry you're going through this. I feel your pain as I went in for a cyst removal to be told afterwards that they couldn't remove it because they found endometriosis and need to refer me for an MRI and a specialist surgeon because they couldn't tell how deep it went so that's got me really worried too. Been told I've got to wait 6 weeks for an MRI because I've just had surgery so at least you got yours quickly I guess... hope you've had some positive news? I feel like I know nothing and my anxiety is through the roof!
