So I had my appointment today after having a urgent MRI & bloods due to a suspicious cyst, bloods came back as ever so slightly raised, she said nothing that is concerning. My MRI is clear and the cyst is endo thank god!! As was thinking all sorts, now my surgery is all booked and confirmed for next Wednesday, got my pre op on Friday! So nervous, but want to move forward x

Good luck with the surgery. Can I ask do u know how big ur cyst is? I just had my MRI today and I have cysts on both sides of my ovary. Not sure what my next steps are but really don’t want surgery if I can help it...
Ah, I’m trying to conceive too, been trying for over 16 months now without success. I have a 3cm cyst on my left and a 10cm on my right ovary. I don’t even know how 10cm is possible Cos that sounds massive, but I only have a slight tummy and I’m a size 8. So speaking to the specialist about IVF route, just had my MRI today to check my pelvis. Did they say the surgery will help fertility? Do you know if it’s open surgery or Laparoscopy?
We’ve been trying for 3 years now, my husband also has issues on his side too. I think within 6 months after surgery some people get pregnant naturally, also having a dye test through my tubes, already had this before and was clear. It will be a laparoscopy preformed by my fertility consultant xx
This is great news. I am so happy your results are back and you know it’s nothing sinister woo hoo. Gosh pre op on Friday everything really is moving which is great to hear. Hope your op isn’t too long to wait so then you can start planning your next moves xx
Thank you! I’m soo glad, I had a little cry lol. Yes, pre op Friday, Covid testing Sunday & op Wednesday all moving very fast but grateful at the same time, all booked in for 3 months time to discuss next options xxx
I am sure you had a cry what a relief with that stress of the unknown. Oh great so you have a date for the op. So glad things are coming together now. All the best for the op xx
