Provera update

So I'm on 10mg of provera daily since the 15th of September and I've been bleeding continuously but I have now stopped bleeding since Wednesday. It's like a different world when you aren't bleeding! I've done some research and many women refer to the first period on provera as a "clear out" as the drug strips the lining of the womb and it ALL comes out. This is exactly what happened. I've never had a period like it. I stopped bleeding for two days then it started again. However this time it only lasted 6 days like a normal period. It's sods law that I'm seeing a consultant tomorrow as I now want to see if the provera works. I WISH my GP had explained more fully what would happen on provera. I'd love to hear from anyone who has persevered with provera and it has eventually started to work. Thanks everyone x

It did work well for me, it was a long time ago so my memories are a bit vague but, yes, I had no periods when taking it. Didn’t work for ever, but while it did it was great.
