severe groin pain .

hey does anyone with severe deep infiltrated endo have groin pain and also pain that goes to the knees and hips . I also have a frozen pelvis. Also symptoms a lot lot worse since I saw my consultant back in June . Am on the wait list for excision surgery in pelvis and Bowel just wondering if anyone else suffered with the groin pain. It’s so severe it keeps me up at night. At first I thought maybe it was restless legs but this pain is constant and has been for about the last ten years but now it’s so bad keeps me practically awake for the majority of the night. What do people suggest I do. As I spoke to a doctor who was so unhelpful that I thought could help as my pain is intense and thought maybe they may be able to speak to my consultant on my behalf as the pain is just getting worse and worse and the diarrhoea I would get once a month is so much more severe. I said I needed to have a prescription as it was interning intensely with my job when I keep having to run to the loo. It was ok ish when I had more severe constipation but the runs are more often and the constipation less so now. I begged the doctor for a prescription of loparmide as was buying immodine so frequently that I was spending to much on just a few pills and the prescription you get a lot more. I just felt like this doctor wasn’t wanted to help me at all when I have a prescription card as I have multiple medications that it’s cheaper on prescription than having to buy the immodine nearly every week. I just felt like I wasn’t heard . Lately I felt like the pain has been so severe that I need to go to a and e . Apparently am on the wait list for the pain clinic but I don’t take pregabalin anymore as I kept falling over and not good in my job role as a carer. Sometimes I just don’t know what to do for the best also I am getting more pains in my privates too . Just long for the day I am pain free. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, yes I have groin pain. It’s really strange as it’s not there all the time but v painful when it does come. Mine is all on one side (left) as I had right ovary and tube removed with a large endo cyst a few years ago. It’s hip, groin and inside my thigh.

I recently had a laparoscopy for the left side pain. They removed the endo spots but sadly the groin pain is still there. My GP is sending me for another transvaginal scan. I did wonder if it wasn’t endo-related and asked the GP if it could be something like varicose veins (yes I had been googling!) but she said it wouldn’t present in that way. So I’ll wait to see if the scan comes up with anything. Otherwise I’m stumped.

Good luck x
