I just wanted to ask if anyone had had a similar experience. Last year I was given 9 months of Zoladex which was incredible (except the side effects) it kept my pain away for around 7 months after my last injection, which then came back with a vengeance. I was just wondering what anyone else's next step was, assuming they won't give me the Zoladex again. I am back at the gynecologist next month, and am hoping they can stop the pains again because it's really hard to cope with.
Thank you all x

I had two courses. Once for six months and once for two years with HRT. Each time I stopped the symptoms returned. The Mirena is what’s worked for me long term though I appreciate its not for everyone.
I was on Zoladex with HRT for 18 months. They now have me on Provera 10mg 3 x per day - body still settling but hoping it calms things down. Good luck when you see they Gynea.
Hi there! I've been on zoaldex for over 10 years. As long as your bone health is OK, gynaecologists do often prescribed zoladex for prolonged periods. So if that's your preference, I can't imagine there would be much resistance. X
