I have an upcoming laparoscopy this month, along with endo, adeno and endometriomas I also have a diagnosis of IIH (idiopathic intracranial hypertension).
The surgery is being performed privately and yesterday I was told that my neurologist would have to give permission for the surgery to even happen, since being told this I am panicking that the operation won't go ahead.
My question is, does anyone else have IIH and endo? Was your surgery was allowed? If so was there any changes to the normal anaesthetic, to the operation (gas amount, tilting during the op)?
Sorry, my mind is going crazy and I need reassurance.
Thank you to all that read and reply x

Thank you for your message, I have been told it could be a two part operation due to bowel endo. It's stage 4 endo. It's with an gynecologist, she is a brilliant specialist. A private hospital but not a private endo centre.
