I was diagnosed with endometriosis last November 2021 through laparscorpy surgery.
The sugeron never clarity what stage endometriosis I have . I had MRI two weeks after surgery in November, received my MRI results in February of this year got told by the gynecologist that the MRI showed no sign of the endometriosis widespread.
Six months after my surgery I went back to have a ultrasound scan in April of this year, the scan had showed that my endometriosis i growing back about 2cm.
I was suppose to have an appointment with my gynecologist to discuss my scan results the hospital has cancelled my appointments twice and haven't heard anything back from them since.
The findings that the gynecologist found when I had my laparscorpy surgery in November, was that I had bowel adhesions, my left ovary endometriosis of 8cm had reputed with sigmoid abutting at the laparscorpy the bowel was densely adherent with evidence of rectovaginal disease.
Apologies if I haven't explained well this was explained in my discharge letter from thehospital.

Hi there and sorry it's taken time for you to get a reply. It sounds like you really need that follow up appointment, but just a quick thing that might help you is that the stages of endo can be a bit misleading which is perhaps why no one has confirmed what's happening with you. I suppose it's because you can have stage 4 endo with no pains and not know you have it, or you can have stage 1 endo that pops you in a hospital ward. So, I think the main thing to focus on would be making sure that you contact the hospital so that you can discuss the scan result and what treatment plan they can offer for you to help you control your symptoms. I hope you are not poorly at the mo and can get an appointment soon xxx This webpage might be helpful for you to to look at before your appointment - endometriosis-uk.org/treatm... this helps a bit? Let me know if you need anything else x
Aw you're welcome. I get your frustration, not only has women's health been neglected over decades but the NHS is on it's knees.....years of underfunding have led to enormous problems, I direct my massive frustrations at the politicians 😤 The scale of the problem is beyond imagination! Sorry for the political rant but it might help xxx
No need to apologise, something needs to be done like you said the NHS on its knees and they really don't care about patients whatsoever, like me and many more of us who are neglected.
I used to praise NHS but not anymore, we pay our national insurance for what, to get neglected and sort yourself out, NHS is an absolute joke.
I had to restore seeing a nutritionist privately to help me manage my symptoms, but I need to also contact the hospital and get some answers what stage endometriosis have.
Can't thank you enough and hope the politicians do something about waiting time to be diagnosed with endometriosis.
