Diagnosed with endometriosis 2 years ago but found out 4 weeks ago on my second laparoscopy it has progressed to stage 4.
Me and my partner are desperate for a baby and are worried time isn’t on our side, has anyone gone ahead with trying for a baby before any surgery? Or should I wait for my third laparoscopy to come through just the waiting list is minimum six months. Thank you xxxx

I did - had a basic lap 2015 which showed stage 3/4 endo, took me 1 1/2 hrs after that to conceive with stage 4 endo in bowls and 8cm endometrioma on my ovary. I had my baby dec 2017 and then had a excision lap march 2019 - currently ttc again but who knows if it will happen. I’m 6 months post lap and can feel pains coming back already... I think u should try just now and u never know when it will happen, pregnancy can help suppress endo and u can have the lap after .
Yes we did - eventually lol pregnancy was absolutely fine with no issues or with labour. Endo returned straight after though which is why I had excision in March x
So lovely! Congratulations. I’m hoping when can try as soon as, I’m still on my Cerazette everyday and had my last Zoladex injection two months ago. Waiting for an appointment to see the doctor to see what I need to do first, makes me anxious that I’ll be trying too soon! X
I had a lap 4 weeks ago time isn’t on my dude either. I got pregnant 2 months before and sadly it ended up being ectopic and I lost my tube, and baby if I could go back I would change it and I wouldn’t have tried before. Now all I have is my babies ashes in a box and only one tube. My tubes was not blocked the reason ectopic happened was due to endo pulling my tubes and sticking them to my bowel causing bends and the embryo getting stuck. 6 months is nothing I would advice to wait.once you have had surgery you have the best chance as endo is at its minimum.
