hi! I had a laparoscopy and since then the pain has got 100 times worse. I had an ultra sound which suggested pelvic congestion. I saw the doctor yesterday who said that wasnt to be taken seriously and that he expected my pain to get worse. He said he Dosent think it’s a gyno issue anymore (which is rediclous). At 30 im finding myself in a postion where I can’t have sex and don’t know how I will conceive.
why would the surgery make everything so much worse and then he would deny having any part to play in that.

Request a copy of your hospital records so you can see the notes on the op. Did Endo get mentioned afterwards?
Ultrasound will show some things but rarely Endo unless they know specifically what to look for. MRI doesn’t always show it either. Which dr said ignore the pelvic congestion? Obviously something showed up and needs dealing with
I’m in the exact same position. I had surgery in feb this year (unfortunately they use ablation which I have since found out that 80% of patient’s experience pain within 3 months of surgery with this technique) and I am in constant agony. I haven’t had a pain free day in over 3 weeks and my GP is now throwing pain killers at me so I’m on cocodamol, gabapentin and mefenamic acid. When I stand and try to walk the pain is horrific, I have nerve pain, pelvic pain, essentially pain from my ribs to my knees. I’m sorry I don’t have any suggestions but I can sympathise with you it’s an awful position to be in. At this point I wish they never operated I feel like they have made me so much worse than I ever was. I got married nearly 2 weeks ago and not been able to be intimate for months now. I feel a shell of who I was before
I’m also 30, and my tubes are blocked too. I’m starting to worry even if I did have successful IVF, would I still be in so much pain during my pregnancy it wouldn’t be something to enjoy? I’m heartbroken, it’s such a cruel disease so poorly treated
