Bloating after Laproscopy

Hi, I've had extreme bloating since my laproscopy. I had the operation almost 3 weeks ago but my stomach seems to get more bloated each day. Is this normal?

hi,

I’d say my bloating only improved around week 4-5 post op. Peppermint tea helped me a lot and movement if you feel up to it

Gentle walking helped me, if obviously you feel well enough. I also had peppermint tea. I found the change in diet post op didn’t help me, I was eating too much ‘beige food’ . I hope you feel better soon

I felt really ill, so tended to eat what I fancied - usual food low in nutrition. I hope you feel better soon.

I've been avoiding dairy, cardbs and meat and drinking peppermint tea. I'm week 4 and bloating seems to be improving but scared to eat my more normal diet.

Did you avoid those types of foods before? Are they known to make endo worse? Yeah I can totally understand, maybe gradually introduce those types of food again
