I’m waiting for laparoscopy at the CEMIG gynae centre at Ashford, P3 wait list. I’ve been given an appointment for pre-op assessment in a month but still no surgical date. Just wondering how long after pre-op people had surgery?
Thanks!! (Feeling a bit anxious about the whole process)

A pre-op is valid for 12 weeks so hopefully it will be in that timeframe for you. Some hospitals do them without knowing the surgery date. In my experience, I’ve only had them when I’ve got my date.
I don't have an answer, but I'm in the same boat as you. I know each NHS trust is different so waiting times may vary. The pre-op is valid for 12 weeks. I had mine 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. Good luck with everything x
Thank you everyone for letting me know! I recently called the bookings team, they said pre-op in this hospital is valid for 18 weeks, and they do them early in case of cancellations and last minute surgery slots. So will see what happens 🤞🏽
