9 weeks post op, still pain on one side, dark shade around kidney? Also new endometrioma found 😔

So at 6 weeks I posted about pain to one side, I was finally send to SAU yesterday for bloods and an ultrasound, my back is so tender to touch and they have found a dark spot in my kidney area? They don't know what it is but sent me home with a lot of pain killers and the promise of a CT scan to take a closer look. Did anybody have this after their lap? I'm so worried this pain is going to last forever 😭 I can't sleep on my side or wear normal clothes yet . Apparently my ureter had endo on it and adhesions so they operated in it during my lap. In other news while they scanned my kidneys they also did my pelvis and informed me that an endometrioma has formed already in my right ovary. I am lost for words, how can it come back so soon?! I'm praying my endo doesn't accelerate from this point on. I've got the coil so I was hoping it would suppress it to slow the growth.

Still no post op appointment to discuss anything of what happened in the surgery or where to go from here 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry this is more of a rant than anything, I'm just so upset and distressed with it all 😔

I haven’t got much on the way of experience or advice I’m afraid with what you are going through, I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry things are not going great since your lap and are understandably upset.

Really hoping and pray that you get your mri asap and that you helped soon with all you need and are out of pain. Think chasing up a chat with what did or didn’t happen in surgery would be helpful too. Perhaps the ward, or endo nurse? A phone call to your doctor to help chase and get clarity may help. Take care x
