Post lap bloating.

I had my laparoscopy 4 days ago, I'm quite swollen still, how long does it take for the bloating to subside?. I also had endometrial ablation and a mirena fitted, could it be the hormones too?. Also I read about mirena perforation, and now I'm paranoid that's going to happen to me 😆😬. I'm a hypochondriac.

It might be the air they pump into you for the lap. I think they turn you into a balloon so it takes a while for the gas to come out of your body. You'll be sore for a while, but hopefully it wont take too long. I couldn't believe how fast my body healed. Key hole surgery is truly incredible. Give yourself time, take it easy; you'll bounce back soon.

Think it also depends on how much they do inside you (either cutting out, investigating etc). A week after surgery I had bruising and slight swelling on my lower abdomen.

Hi sorry you are so uncomfortable, have you tried drinking a few drops of peppermint oil in a glass of warm water. I found this helped after having a gall bladder surgery.

I know it isnt the same area but it did help a lot, and please do not be embarrassed to burp if you need to

Hope you are soon more comfortable Alexa 🌸🌸
