Post lap - Inflammation & Bloating

Hello ladies! I am a month post lap. I am doing pretty well, except that I keep bloating up on a daily basis and it is painful I think I might be still inflammed from surgery. I am not entirely sure what is healing process and what might be digestive issues, not related to surgery or Endo. I don't fit into my pants, which I am ok with. I am not sure if I should go see a gastroenterologist, because they did not find Endo on my bowels. I am just wondering if it could be the surgery what could be generating the digestive issues.

On the other hand, how long did it take you to lose all the Inflammation from the surgery?

Thank you for your comments!

With kindness

Margarita

Hi, I'm 3 almost 4 weeks after lap and still wearing leggings. My tummy is still bruised and swollen so I'm reckoning it is still healing process. I have done niggles at my right side too which must be from healing also xx

Hi, niggles are still wee mild pains at times. I had endemetriosis lazered off during laparoscopy. How about you?

ah, ok... yes, I have niggles, less and less... I had endo lasered off as well. Ovaries, uterus, appendix (it was removed), pelvic wall and floor and rectum.

Hi Margarita it took me 2 weeks for the bloating to go down and it stayed that way for a while but has come back now and it’s indicating another issue for me. If you are concerned in any way please see a doctor x

I see! Did you speak to your doctor about it? There is no way it could be related to the surgery?

Hi yes I did see my GP and bloods show my ovaries are enlarged which is the cause of me bloating x
