I have my lap 2 weeks okay and started my period on Wednesday (4 days earlier than I was due on) my consultant said no tampons for my first period but the pads are rubbing so much and making me sore. I'm 27 and suffer from bad anxiety so the fear of smelling and everything around periods causes me so much stress and I need help

I'm so sorry your suffering with the pads, I use reusable pads, available on Amazon if you type in reusable heavy flo pads. I know some people think it sounds disgusting but I was having month long periods and like you the plastic started giving me blisters, I thought I would try these as I had nothing to loose and I've never looked back, they are soft and comfortable, hold a good amount and I've never had a problem with them smelling, just keep on top of changing them through the day.
Hope you get sorted soon.
I am sorry to hear your anxiety over this pad thing. I remember at some point I started to feel itchy and uncomfortable on regular pads I used for many years good brands like always even, so I changed to organic cotton pads and since then I got relief from those sensitivity to pads. Even I am now alergic to toilet papers so I should be careful.
Regarding tampons if you ever had any endo I suggest forget abt them they are not good and cause troubles infections etc. also avoid going to any pool or deep water while on period or spotting even with tampons
Take care
