2 months after laparoscopy severe pain

Is this normal?my daughter who is 22 had endometriosis removed off both ovaries 8 weeks ago.Since then she has been admitted 3 times ..1st period then chronic constipation and today her 2nd period.We keep being told this can be normal after surgery for up to 6 months?is this true. Its really effecting our family and were all losing days at work as she vomits so muchx

During surgery did they look through her whole pelvis, bladder, bowel, ligaments, etc. and see if there was any more endometriosis? It's possibly they missed some? She may have developed some scar tissue or adhesions that are exacerbating her symptoms also. Did she go to a specialist endo surgeon?

Honestly, my periods were pain free after my surgery, but I know some ladies it takes a few periods to settle down as things heal. I think you need to find another specialist for a second opinion x

When is her post-surgery follow up with her consultant? I would email and phone their secretary and get it moved up so things can be checked quicker. Also see if her GP will refer for an urgent pelvic ultrasound. Did she have Mirena coil fitted?
