Anxiety around period

I get so anxious right before my period. I haven't had one for 6 weeks because I'm on the pill but now I've got one coming in a few days and I'm feeling so much anxiety. Is anyone else like this every month?

Yes I am like this whenever I think pain might be coming. Makes it hard to breath normally but that is what I try and focus on, slow deep breathing and things that I find relaxing like crafting, walks and watching TV under a blanket.

yes, every month I feel the same, also during ovulation really, I find meditation helps and exercise if you can do it. You could get medication for anxiety but I stay clear of those. Once you are aware it’s going to happen it helps, you’re not alone in this…big hugs

Yes! I get so anxious around my period, I over think everything and panic that I’ve annoyed people or that I’m not doing a good job at work. I just put it down to hormones as I’ve always been like it even before endo.

Like MalachiteAli said below there is also the anxiety of knowing the pain is coming which is horrible. You are not alone !! Xx
