Hello all

Ok so after some grateful advice a few weeks ago ive seen my GP.

She stated thaat somewhere along the line there has been a miss communication. Im down with a NHS Gyne Consultant whom specialises in Endo it states on my file that i am having lanscopracy, endo on the bowel scraped off, and a camera inserted in my foof the remove a pollop NO hysterectomy or Coil yay. Then ill be sent to the endo team. Also that my current stomach and eating issues are not related and im on the waiting list for a camera down my throat to investigate whats going on. Theyve given me a new medication to try with the omeprazole.

Ive been told no this that the other basically The Endo diet nothing that can aggravate the bowel or stomach. Bread products out as it aggravates my stomach.

Im struggling to eat already are there any tips for this endo diet? I feel like im starving i eat alot of red meat pork pasta dairy tomato ect so cutting it all i feel at a loss. I have fruit veg ect we grow our own organic food however cutting out the tomatoes chillies (acidic and spice) leaves me stuck for meal ideas..

have you tried any of the low carb range of bread and pasta ? Carbzone do some nice alternatives, low carb is the best way to go for endo xx

I have tried low carb alternatives before. Honestly most things are off the list as they aggravate my stomach or bowels.

5 days of veg salad and chicken im massively noticing the difference. Today i was out shopping had a cheese pastry and my stomach and bowels let me know. These new tablets the gp gave me have really started to help however if im not supposed to be eating it my body tells me lol. Best part is im going the loo every day its fab funny how a natural bodily function is taketaken for granted.

Ive beebeen researching a bit since posting and just going to throw foods that are ok together to vary flavours.. im still a bit hungry however trying to do small and often on portions to feel fuller until my appointments come through.

Could you manage soups or stews that are well cooked and so easier to digest? If you can tolerate them you could add chicken, turkey, fish or lentils to them.

I usually make beef aand mushroom stew but it says not to have red meat.

Yes red meat can be inflammatory, but chicken and turkey are ok to use instead.

Thank you. lll be honest i was doing well with soups and veg crashed and burned this week had a mcDonalds with the hubby and a costa coffee made with milk not coconut milk ive been so ill this week. Its dropped my immune system to the floor. Been sick sore throat now have bad chest and flu.. thats without the stomach and bowel issues its amazing how fast a chain reaction gets going from something you put in the body. Said to the hubby its just not worth the pain we wont be sneaking macs again 😂.
