Hello Everyone.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in November 2021 by having an laparscorpy surgery. Wanted to ask you lovely ladies, does anyone suffer with bad bloating?

The bloating seems to be really bad before my cycle and after, my stomach looks swalllown and about 6 months pregnant.

I have cut down on surgar, on a gluten free diet, drink alot of herbal tea, stopped drinking coffee, eating alot of fruit and veg. Just don't know what else to do,my clothes don't fit anyone, lucky still got some that still fit.

Does anyone suffer with bad bloating and if so any advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks Ladies 😊.

Hi Cockapoo, Im exactly the same, severe bloating and tiredness. I'm on my second round of Decapetyl and Tibolone. I had a Laparascopy back in October 2020 and the Mirena put in in October 2021. Started to get really bloated again with a really bad pain on my left side a couple of weeks ago and found out I have Endo again, there was a 4cm endometrioma on my left ovary. to say I'm annoyed would be in understatement. I'm so bloated now constantly it feels so uncomfortable.

Thank you so much for your reply and sharing your story.

I know what you mean, I went back to hospital for an ultrasound scan in April, got told my endometriosis regrowing again left ovary about 2cm.

Don't feel that the NHS are doing much to help and support us women who suffer with endometriosis, ie was suppose to have a consultation appointment twice my appointment got cancelled and haven't heard anything from the hospital.

All we can do is keep fighting and stay strong xx.

Hello! Sorry you are experiencing this, I have the same and I find it to be one a really difficult symptoms to deal with but what has helped me so far is a mix between an anti inflammatory diet (also stopping coffee completely) and daily yoga or pilates. There are lots of youtube videos, or even better if you can go to classes somewhere. You can also try massaging it with peppermint essential oil (a few drops of it on any other oil).Hope this helps :)

I have this too and it has been nice to read other people also have this and it’s not all in my head…. Nice to read some of the replies too.I also suffer with vomiting, where I will vomit for 30 days straight. Recently had an episode of this and was hospitalised due to dehydration and weight loss… had a load of scans/tests and they found an endometria on both my ovaries, the left one being so big it is blocking my pipe that goes from kidney to bladder… yesterday I had to have a stent fitted in the hope it will repair the kidney… and in the meantime waiting on an operation to remove the mass on my ovaries and the have endometriosis reduced…all in all a rubbish few months ahead! I have stopped eating/drinking dairy and will only drink peppermint tea this helps a little with bloating but not completely, so will be good to try some of the responses… hope you are all better soon… we got this ladies as rubbish as it may feel right now! X

So sorry to hear what you are going through. Thank you for taking the time to reply back, especially what you are going through.

In September 2021, I woke up with severe lower abdominal pains and severe vomiting. I just couldn't get up or move the pain was so unbearable, my partner rushed me to A and E as the ambulance service refused to sent an ambulance.

I had CT scans, blood tests, ultrasound, given pain killer through a drip.

The results came back that I had a Cyst of 8cm on my left ovary, at this point the doctors didn't know what kind of cyst it was, got referred urgently to gynecologist for another ultrasound to see if had any more cysts, more blood tests at my ca125 where sky high.

I got booked in for my laparscorpy surgery in November and was diagnosed with endometriosis, the cyst I had on my left ovary had reputed and had another cyst on my rectovaginal 6cm.

Back in April this year went for ultrasound scan findings that the endometriosis cyst is regrowing again, that may explain the bloating and pain.

The things us women go through, hope you get your surgery soon 🙏.

Best wishes in your recovery and stay strong 💪.

Hiya, so sorry to hear you are going through this. It seems like you are doing a lot of good things on helping your body but is never one thing to fix these this things sadly. I too am on this boat...recently started taking some super strong probiatics and has helped a little. Have also been regular on the kefir ans sauerkraut which also help as fermented food. Just wanted to share in case you have not come across of this before.
