Does anyone have any tips for bloating? I have been constantly bloated for nearly 2 weeks to the point my work trousers don't fit correctly due to the size of my stomach bloat. It's really starting to get me down as you all know living with endo is hard as it is. I just need some ideas xxxxx

Following your post for tips too - my work trousers also no longer fit me and I am embarrassed to be seen at work. I wonder whether charcoal tablets could help? I haven't tried them yet as my bloating only occurs when I've been on my feet for too long/not eating regularly enough, which hasn't been the case during recovery from laparoscopy. Might be worth considering for work if anyone is able to recommend here?

Have you changed anything in your diet? Following the endo diet and namely cutting out sugar and gluten near on stops the endo bloat for me as well as bringing down pain and fatigue levels. It may be worth a try? Xx

Hi Katielou1987,

Stretching helps me a little with bloating due to endo. I would try laying on your pack and pulling your knees to you chest. It helps relax the muscles a little. Also putting your feet up above you against wall and laying down so your body creates a 45 degree angle. I have struggled with bloating due to endo as well ans this is one of my go-tos. Also you can get gas-x from store it is simethicone and comes in breath strips and chewables. Good luck!

I feel your pain because I've been bloated beyond belief for the past month too 😫. I take hydrocloric acid with pepsin tablets after each meal as aging causes low stomach acid which slows digestion. You could also try cutting out dairy for a while to see if it helps, and/or gluten (tough I know). Have you had your thyroid tested?
