pre op 2 weeks does this mean lap soon?

i only had my apt with gyne last week to list me for lap i got a message today for a pre op apt in 2 weeks.

does this mean a lap is coming soon?????

!!!!!!

i havent had a letter yet it was just a text message .

hey, sometimes they book the pre op because once it’s done you can have a surgery date sooner if someone cancels. I think when they book it, it triggers the message and usually the letter follows a few weekdays later! xx

Pre-ops are valid for 12 weeks so it may be they’re jumping ahead so when you do get a date, you don’t need to worry about having a pre-op then
