Since January 2022, I've noticed my periods have been going on for 2-3 Weeks, and I only have 1 week break. I have no pain and my flow isn't that heavy. My doctor has sent out for a scan for the second time, My iron levels was 14, and been taking iron tablets and feel better and no clotting since. Has anyone had this problem before long periods and no pain?

Long Periods and no pain?
Hi. I’ve had the same but because I had the mirena coil fitted and that can happen initially. Did you have the coil fitted recently by chance?
What stage of endometriosis are you at? This is a wake up call to lower your estrogen levels.
Ie lose weight if you need too! Drink more water. Cut sugar. Exercise.
This is how my periods went which I thought was normal, which wasn’t really. Well, to be fair, I was a full time cared of my dad who had very complex health issues, so I was more interested in what his body was doing more than mine! Anyway, now I suffer the exact same health issues I did in my dad! High estrogen! Cancer! Severe chronic health! Weakening! Ect!
So don’t ignore it!….
There’s food that will specifically not add to your estrogen levels, and will lower yours!
Xx
At the moment I'm not any stage, I'm trying to pin point what is wrong as doctors aren't really confirming anything at this stage, so I'm hoping to get information as I am only 21 and I know if I don't sort it now things will defiantly get worse, but thank you will take your information on bored, really appreciate it 😃
Hi,
I have the same as you, my periods are now longer but not as heavy, and only slightly painful for a few days. Not sure whether to be worried or not... also TTC so hope it's nothing bad. Ovulation pain has increased though. All so odd. Hope you're ok xxxxx
I have had long periods that lasted weeks but weren't particularly heavy or painful. Went to see my GP and ultrasound found cysts on my ovaries. You are doing the right thing seeing your doctor and hopefully the ultrasound scan will help reveal what might be causing your long periods.
