Periods and urinating

Hello my lovelies,

Hope you are all safe and well.

I’ve been diagnosed with endometriosis since October 2019. This month I’ve had 2 periods which have been really heavy and so much pain in between them both. I’ve also been urinating out blood clots and lots of pain when urinating. Has anyone got any advice on how to cope with any of this? Or does this happen to any of you? X

How were you diagnosed? I had a laparoscopy for my diagnosis and it was confirmed on my bladder and not all could be removed and it does cause pain when i urinate at times. Have you checked if it could be a uti perhaps?

They found endometrial cells on my appendix that had been taken out and seen tissue over my womb. I’m waiting for a laparoscopy and a CT to see what else there is. I’ve seen the urologist and they referred me for the CT scan and I’m always getting bladder infections

Wow, that is so like me, in the lead up to my laparoscopy, i had endless water infections. The clots sound familiar. Hang in there, i know its so painful and tough.. when is the laparoscopy? X

I’m getting constant infections all the time. The pain this month has been horrendous I’m on the waiting list but with all this virus stuff going on I don’t know how long it will take xx

I am sorry to hear that. Do you have any health insurance through work you could use? I was really lucky to have this and they were able to see me right away! I feel your pain coz i have been there. I hope you can get the help you need xx
