So I’ve was in hospital on Monday and discharged Wednesday was told I have a block Fallopian tube and sent homr with pain killers even though I told them I can’t manage the pain on oral morph. I was then back in hospital Thursday morning to a different hospital where they blue lighted me in an ambulance somewhere else. I was given a strong antibiotic and given an ultrasound that Ofcorse was clear. Then a ct scan which was also clear just shown a small cyst. They told me the anti biotic had unblocked my tube. However I’m not in as much pain but still in some sort of pain. I just feel like different hospitals say different things. How can two of the same type of scan show different things. All they ever seem to do is put things down to my endometriosis and say prostrap prostrap prostrap. I do not want soemthing that gives me menopause symptoms I’d rather them take the lot!!!

I am not sure this will help but i also was in hospital at the beginning of April with what I want to describe as a extreme pain episode. Something I have come to realise I think is that any poking around even if it felt gentle (for example a trans v ultrasound) or a flare up if you have any inflammatory things going on such as endo it adeno can then set off a whole chain reaction of things in the pelvis. I believe this happened to me . I was given morphine and antibiotics in the hospital as they suspected an infection but later found nothing in the tests done, both the morphine and antibiotics I think started a process of Cronic pain for the last month where my pelvic area was in pain daily my back to. I continued with codine not knowing that this may have been contributing to the whole process causing constipation and pain to until I was prescribed an anti spasmodic med that I took for 4 days. I now feel like the flare up has calmed down and I have managed the last few days without medication except for my hormonal treatment. I also had a ct and it showed only the things I knew were there already. Some scan machines are not as high tech as others I had a tv ultrasound that showed my cyst but 4 days later I had another showing adhesions . It also depends who is doing it and do they know what to look for. This is a key thing. I hope your pain becomes more manageable and you can work your way through what’s happening at the moment

Yes that sounds familiar. Every 2-4 months I find myself in hospital with the same pain and same side. Each time getting more severe. It also radiates to the lower right of my back. It is just unbearable

Sounds dreadful :( I don't know if this is of any help but I had fluid in my tubes and the consultant made a small incision into each and drained the fluid out of them. I wonder why they didn't try to drain or clear the blockage during your surgery? I completely relate to the pain, they seem to find no particular cause for the extreme pain especially after having surgery to remove endo. I found out I had adenomyosis and the Dr said that maybe was the cause of the pain after my excision surgery. I don't think they can really ever say for sure. Chronic pain and non stop painkillers are not what we want for the rest of our lives. Xxx

Literally! They sent me on my way with oral morph that makes you feel so so drowsy and gives me flushed and shakes. I have a 3 year old at home so when my partner is T work it means I have to do a day in pain because I can’t take morphene while looking after my child. It’s so annoying this pain it flared up every so many months always the same side too !

There is also the pelvic pain sensitivity that happens when a flare up is present which I find is like a vicious circle cause the pain causes more inflammation and then you feel it more because you are hypersensitive to the pain and so the cycle goes until it calms - so annoying
