2 weeks post op ? What’s normal?

I had major surgery to help with stage 3/4 endo and had the coil fitted to help not only with endo but adenomyosis. It was the longest surgery I have had done

Surgery went to plan and endometriosis was removed within reason

BUT Is it normal to feel deflated and have good and bad days still, Internal pain is still taking it’s toll on me and my physical and mental state

Just wondering if this is all part and parcel of the recovery as this is my hardest recovery yet

Hallo! Be kind and patient to your body, you’ve just had major surgery. It took me 3 weeks to feel more normal again, and I needed a further 3 weeks part time hours because it still felt uncomfortable to sit at a desk. I know we’re all different, but 2 weeks is still too early to expect to be back to normal.

Thank you so much When I return to work my job is quite physically active aswell so making me get wary and anxious among many other feelings

16th March Hopefully I will feel more myself by then

It been a emotional rollercoaster

Also going from decapetyl injection to mirena is like a hormone overload

See how you feel nearer the time, don’t be afraid to ask for more time off from your dr if you need it. Xx
