Hey sorry to head you have more pain. I don’t have any advice but I’m goi through the same thing. GP seems to think it’s gallbladder related, so I’m waiting on a scan but feel like already know it’s not going to show anything. It’s every morning when I wake the pain. Right side too. Hope you get some answers x
Thanks I managed to get an apt with GP today she was very nice and has sent for bloods again but thinks its all just the endo symptoms nothing else (ive already had upper abdo scans stool samples and lots of other tests) Just gta keep plodding on while waiting for lap
Hello, sorry to hear you are suffering! I have pain in a similar place, have had pain and tenderness from the base of my rib cage most of the way down to my hips, both sides for over a year now. I have had ultrasounds and all the blood, urinary and bowel tests that my GP could order, but all clear so just left that it’s probably endometriosis related and nothing else has been done for months while I waited for my consultation. I bow have a lap scheduled for next week which I’m hoping will be helpful! I have been told it’s renal colic and it’s very much in the right area for kidneys, so wondering if there will be issues with endo on ureters. I also get a lot of shortness of breath and chest pain which is finally being investigated, but have wondered recently if it could be endo on my diaphragm and whether that’s also causing the flank pain/tenderness. So basically yes I’m in the same boat pain wise but I have no answers, I’m sorry! I can update after my lap if I get anything helpful there!
Ah yes good luck with lap let me know how you get on.Its mad getting hesd round all this and lesrning about and how it can affect all different areas. Im waiting for lap too. My gp is really good and I had a bad flare up last few weeks even though shes convinved theres nthing else going on shes running more bloods, and has aslo go over everthing ive had done already to reassure me.
Its scary as most endo symptoms are also symptoms of ovarian/bowel cancer.
Thank you. I’m really glad you have a great GP! feeling heard makes so much difference I think. Yes you’re right, I think one of the hardest parts is not knowing what’s actually going on inside your own body and wondering how bad it is and whether it’s all endo related or separate conditions etc. Part of me is terrified they won’t find anything at all during the lap!
