Flank pain and pain in the abdomen and under ribs

Hi all, just looking for some advice or reassurance please. Have been having my usual lower back pain, endo burning sensation with endo pelvic pain for the past 2 weeks, am extremely bloated and am late for period (defo not pregnant) but for the last week now I have been getting aching, shooting pains in my sides, flanks and around the back, both sides but mainly left and shooting, stabby pains under my ribs, both sides. I have not had this before with my endo and it has made my anxiety really bad as I have had chronic acid reflux symptoms for a few months now, (using omemprazole to help with this) and am googling the worst

Just wondered if this were a usual endo symptom and if anyone else has experienced this?

Many thanks

X

Thanks for replying, sorry to hear you have it too, it's been going on for 10 days now so will check in at the gp x

Yes, I have pain everywhere and under my ribs too. My surgeon said it was impossible that the diaphragm area pain is endo but didn't give any other answers or seem to care. I've no idea what else it might be so I've been assuming endo for now. It certainly does feel like it!

That's horrible, how long have you had it for? Mine is going on for 10 days now, will see gp about it, failing that am seeing the gynae at the end of the month. I had a scan last week which showed a large endometrioma on my left ovary but don't think that would cause the pain x

Maybe about 7 months now. I did see a gynae a couple months afterwards but unfortunately it wasn't helpful and my gp is useless. Here's hoping yours has more of a clue than mine did. Mine started a couple months after I had my endometriomas removed and it's quite a distance so I don't think so either x
