Laparoscopy- belly piercing

This may sound like a very shallow question but I am just curious. I’ve had my belly pierced for 3 years now but I have only taken it out for a period of a few hours before. Will I be able to put my piercing back in after the laparoscopy? Or will the scar tissue heal over the hole etc.. has anyone had this situation ? X

Hiya :) its absolutely fine. As you've had it for 3 years i'd say leave it out for a few days at least. I think i left mine out for a week and let the wound heal a little but its nowhere near the piercing hole. You will be thankful for the piercing to as it covers the scar :) Good luck! The recovery is pretty swift from this I think i was in bed for a couple of days and just took it slow for a couple of weeks after xx
