This is very random but.....I read somewhere that getting your nose pierced helps with period pain and endometriosis !! Not sure if a specific side works better than another , though I did read that some tribes have the left side for this reason but the other reports didn't specify)
Just wondered if anyone had tried it lol

The only reason I can think that would work would be if it was an acupuncture point, and it isn't. I used to practice acupuncture so I do know.
There is an acupuncture point LI4 (Large Intestine 4) which helps with pain all over the body but specifically period pain. It is in the web between your thumb and first finger. You can activate it with the thumb and finger of the other hand either side of it (thumb on the back side of your hand, finger on the palm side) and pushing hard with your thumb, or with an acupuncture magnet.
i recently read the same thing. its the left side that many cultures get pierced to help with period pain and endo. i took a dive and got mine done a week ago. not sure if its placebo affect or what, but my pain is significantly less this month. i normally have to call out of work atleast one day and take up to 2 toradols a day. im on day 4 and i have only taken toradol maybe one time a day since my cycle started... so long story short, it has helped me!!
This has worked for me.... sort of. I got my nose pierced in February 2019. I did not know that getting the left nostril pierced for womb related illnesses was a thing at the time. My period had been super weird for a few months (late, heavy and just not normal) and I was always regular prior to that. I had seen my doctor about it and she did blood tests and told me it was a slight hormone imbalance that was causing this.
Cut to a week after my nose piercing, and my period came on time, light, and with little to no cramps. I have always been regular with some cramps, nothing Ibuprofin or chamomile tea wouldn't take care of. So this I noticed very early, that my period came on time and was light with no pain.
Cut to 4 weeks later, and my period came on time with no pain... but it didn't stop for 2 weeks. That's when I started doing research and as this was unusual for me, I reached out to my Gyn, who put me on BC since my previous blood work showed a hormonal imbalance.
Now periods are always a bit longer than usual (5-7 days) but I don't bleed as much and NO CRAMPS!
So that might be a combination of the nostril piercing with the BC for a month, but the fact that I have no cramps at all, I'll take it.
This may sound crazy but I've had my nose pierced for two years and while I notice no difference in my cycle, I do notice that I get a pustule and painful bump every time I get my period. I have been wondering if my cycle for whatever reason is affecting my piercing. It's like spot on every month. Trying to research if I'm allergic to my jewelry and if my cycle somehow exacerbates this
