I was looking for a bit of reassurance/advice, I had my diagnosis laparoscopy yesterday and the gynaecologist said she found a nodule of endometriosis on my right side utero sacral ligament and said it was to deep to remove, she said she found nothing else but noted my bowels where full and distended. So I was wondering Is it normal to find just one nodule? And also I am in so much pain today finding it so hard to move is that normal because she only really looked around, I’m assuming it’s gas which is struggling to pass maybe because I’m so constipated?
Any thoughts/suggestions

I’m in recovery after a endo lap too and I can tell you the gas & bloating are the worst! Endo affects women differently so if they found just one deep nodule then so be it.
I find that taking peppermint oil capsules, drinking peppermint tea and walking around helps shift the gas.
Ten days post op & the bloating has reduced a lot but still not all gone.
Take a laxative for the constipation would be my advice.
Hiya Blueriv,After a lot of laxatives I was able to get relief which I think helped me to feel better, I tried peppermint tea but didn’t really feel it help but I also used deflatine which was useful.
My main symptoms I have is right sided pain and nerve type pain in my leg/hip/back I still don’t really know if the nodule they found is what is causing my pain, the consultant said it would need removing my a more experienced surgeon, im just not sure if I want to go though with another op just in case it’s not the cause of my problems. Anyway, I wish you all the best, thank you for advice. Xx
Hi despite what they found they have travelled around all yr organs and filled you with gas so you are going to be in pain with both gas and incisions, drs/surgeons don't tell you that this will last way past 1 week of pain and exhaustion will hit you but take notice of this and sleep as it helps with healing as your body needs time to recover it has gone through a trauma and will be working hard to get back to normal, you have had surgery regardless of the outcome and need to remember that, I know how you feel as i honestly didn't realise how hard it would hit me (I'm 3 wks post op) and feeling much better but still get pain and my bowel is all over the place also still get tired but no where as bad as the 1st week, my body let's me know if I'm doing too much as I get a stabbing pain and stop what I'm doing, be very careful with lifting as u may feel OK but believe me your still healing ...I learnt this the hard way lol being so independent all this has been really hard for me but we have to be patient even if we are stubborn like myself lol
Hiya, thank you for you response and advice, I do feel a lot better than I did, after a lot of laxatives I was able to go ( sorry tmi 😂) am I am recovering well, I was honestly shocked my how awful I felt though last week, i really wasn’t prepared for it . I wish you all the best with your continuing recovery. Xx
