I am on slow release morphine tablets, my skin is on fire all of the time, all over itching like crazy. I have scratched until its raw. Any suggestions on what I can use to ease the itch so I can have some skin left 😄

Sound like you are allergic to the morphine maybe. Take a Benadryl and use calamine lotion

I take an anti histamine daily, along with Naproxen and Tramadol or Codeine as necessary. The itch is quite a common side effect in my opinion, good luck x

Hi DAML8

It would be best to contact your GP surgery to let them know about these symptoms you're experiencing and ask for their advice. Please be careful to only take medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional. We are here to support you, and hope things improve soon 😊

Hi I think you should get back in touch with your doctor you must be having allergic reaction to the morphine tablets. They may try a different type of pain relief that work the same as morphine. I couldn't stand that itch good luck.
