Hi all,

I have been bleeding for years.I do not know when it is menstruation or just bleeding any longer.I was told it is Adenomyosis and they say Fibroids atimes. I have been booked for hysterescopy tomorrow . What are the things to expect? Would I be able to go back to work immediately after the procedure or the day after?

Hi hope you are ok! I have the same problem as you. I needed about 2-4 days to recover after my hysteroscopy because it made the bleeding slightly worse. I also experienced cramping. Hope it’s not as bad for you. Stay strong ❤️

Hi good luck for your procedure. I had a hysteroscopy whilst I was under getting my laparoscopy. I did bleed and had a cramp like feeling, it took me about a week to start to feel better. I do have fibromyalgia too so I think it takes me longer than say someone who doesn’t to feel better with the pain and fatigue side of things. Let us know how you get on.

I have adenomyosis too x
