I’m unsure?

Hi,

I’ve recently come off my pill and get really bad period pains when my periods starts. (this was one of the reasons I went on the combined pill).

Im unsure if I am worrying over nothing because lots of people get period pains or whether it could be endometriosis.

Hi,

From my own experience, I was initially on the pill to control my periods and period pain. It is hard to say from that alone if you could have endometriosis but looking back, for me that was probably a red flag. Pain is a bit subjective, so maybe try to describe it to your doctor. I know it's difficult.

Endometriosis-UK has a pain and symptoms diary which can help you to figure out the relationship between your period and the pain, maybe you'll notice some other symptoms as well (but I hope that you don't) - here is the link to the diary: endometriosis-uk.org/sites/...

I hope this helps a little.
