What checks are needed before IVF?

Hello, I'm new here:)

I have just started my second IVF cycle and I'm feeling nervous. I have endometriosis and have just had my first Prostap injection to prepare me for IVF.

While waiting for the clinic to reopen due to covid, I've done a lot of research and attended webinars/talks etc about IVF. Something that keeps coming up is hormone checks before having IVF. I haven't had any for over two years and am now feeling anxious that I've started a cycle and not had these done.

Does anyone have any knowledge on this? I did ask one of the Drs and she said she's not sure why, and typically I took that as an answer but am now stressing that I don't understand the answer fully and like I'm missing something?

Thanks so much!
