Currently trying to decide if I’m inflamed, bloated or full of fluid! I’m skinny, underweight! But this is what I look like most days now, while awaiting surgery to sort me out!

Does anyone else get this?

Yes I get very bloated. Some days have a flat stomach and others it’s so swollen and sore.

I take tablets for fluid retention and they do make a difference x

I think it’s fluid as it’s not gone this morning! Bloating normally goes by morning then grows again the next day! It’s very uncomfortable! Xx

I know it’s horrible, I wear jeans or leggings that allow my stomach to expand 🤨

So unflattering! And uncomfortable! My back is actually killing!

Is it air, fluid, inflammation or constipation! I can’t even suck it in! When I try it makes me feel like I’m going to poo myself! The joys of womanhood! Xx

Bless you I certainly do...I’m a huge advocate of dandelion root and magnesium for bloating but,presently I’m the same it just won’t shift...

I’m in for my 5th lap in 4 years April 13th.

I’m so sorry to hear how much you’re suffering,don’t give up the fight!

You poor think you need better support😘sure inflammation defo is a cause but,what does your GP/consultant say you must push them for tests as to the cause of the bloating...I know you’ve probably had more than enough but,keep fighting please! X

I’m going to phone them today! One thing I know is my GP is strangely just refusing to treat me! I send an econsult with symptoms and pics and I just get back ‘thank you for your econsult’. Literally no advice, no pain relief, no help, no support just F off! Xx

Defo phone them today...you should not have to suffer like this please get in touch if I can support you at all please get in touch.I’ve pretty much been through it all!!

It took me over 32 years to get diagnosed and that was only because I pushed and pushed...it’s exhausting I know but,please don’t give up...

I honestly don’t know why they’re so reluctant to treat me! They did a bloody good job of fobbing me off for 4 years with its ‘IBS’ even though I told them I was having to manually empty my bowel! They should be helping me get this sorted, and fast, after there charade! I mean, I only almost died, because both my consultant and gp failed at their jobs.

I’m so mad! One gp said I needed a surgeon? No sh*t Sherlock, but wait til you need surgery on the NHS! It never happens overnight!

Now it can’t happen overnight without a real risk of colostomy but I’ve to just suffer while they decide what to do? Well, it ultimately appears that way! Xx
