Hello i totally hear where you are coming from and how you feel. I felt miserable and very tired with the condition. I felt very alone thinking noone understood what I was going through. But I had surgery 2 weeks ago and feeling better. I hope the same will happen for you too! Stay hopeful and positive
Sorry to hear you’re feeling blue. I understand. I’ve had a grotty run of symptoms and like many hear have felt tired, fed up and cranky. I also get the ‘endo belly’ and get fed up of looking pregnant especially as I keep up exercise. If it helps, I find it’s not as bad if I stay very hydrated. I have a 1 litre water bottle and try to get through 2 a day. To liven it up I’ll pop in some lemon or orange slices and in this cold weather too it up with hot water for when I walk the dog. It’s not a fix but I do find it helps. Lots of love to you
I'm on your page. I don't think there's been a day where I don't have endo belly for the last few years.
It's does get me down sometimes and it's never comfortable but it's comforting to know I'm not alone.
I only found out it's called endo belly last year - as I used to get it only in the evenings, hubby & I called it my dinner baby.
I also find drinking plenty of water minimises the solid feeling & size. It doesn't stop it altogether but helps a bit. I don't drink tap water because it gives me cystitis, I stick to still spring water.
Thanks for responding, yeah mine seems to be daily now also started near periods but now it just seems to be daily I’m so fed up with the feeling. I feel so much sympathy for all the girls on here it’s heartbreaking to deal with such horrible symptoms.
Omg not just me!! I’ve still got this 11 weeks after surgery and I got so down about it and cried I’ve been having to wear leggings for work cause my stomach swells that much! This is a bit of reassurance cause I’d convinced my self I put on loads of weight and kept crying!
The doctors putting me on some tablets to try and lessen the bleeding to stop the swelling so I will let you know how they go.
But ring your doctor and see if they can give you something to help I’ve previously tried co-codomal and Colofac and none worked for me but it may for you.
Aw bless ya, horrible condition isn’t it 😞 I start work as a carer on Saturday and dreading it cos of my endo. But fingers crossed I won’t let it beat me. Thank u babe, I hope u get better soon too 💕
Castor oil helps with inflammation. No harm in trying, but I’ve found myself reaching for ibuprofen a lot less. Take anti inflammatory supplements too. Turmeric. Zinc. Magnesium. Omega 3.
