Fed up menopause

It's been a while, I'm exhausted.. I've been switching between prostap and zoladex and I've come to 2 years of being on these menopause injections, on prostap I've experienced a period every month with extreme pain when opening my bowels, on zoladex I experienced periods every 12 days, bearable pain opening my bowels but horrendous menopausal side effect before each period.. I'm still waiting on surgery for my stage 4 endo to remove the endo and a bowel resection and removing cysts measuring 10cm. I had to try 3 different hrts as the side effects were really bad. I refused to continue with further menopause injection, as they said there was a 2 year licence in using it, I have a dexa scan booked to check my bone density and providing everything is normal, I could possibly continue with menopause injection although I really dont want to. I guess my post is to see if anyone else has experienced similar.

All in all, I’ve had 5 6month courses of Zoladex, but never had it long term! I have heard of people keeping on it but personally, I don’t feel the results, which are minimal, are worth the side effects! You’ve done well! My last 6 month course almost pushed me over the edge 🤣.

How come you’ve been left so long awaiting surgery? All cysts over 6 cm should be removed! They should not be left! Xx
