Day 6 of flare up, fatigued and major night sweats

Hello ladies, hope your all ok and not suffering too badly.

I’m currently in day 6 of a bad flare up haven’t had one this long in a while, I feel like someone is stabbing me constantly in the stomach I don’t know what to do to help this it’s just causing pure exhaustion as I don’t know where to turn.

I’m also suffering with major night sweats needing to change my clothes most evenings so I’m struggling to sleep which isn’t helping with trying to kick this flare up into touch.

Any advice on what to do with the pain as well as any help with the sweats at all please.

I’m sorry to hear this. I’ve been getting more and more night sweats I wasn’t sure if it was related so helpful to know others get this too. I’m constantly in catch 22 needing heat to reduce pain but sweats already I can’t say I’ve worked out a balance that works ☹️

It’s so difficult isn’t it sorry to hear your suffering too 😞 like you say it’s a catch 22 as heat helps reduce the pain, no I haven’t either I’m just becoming more and more exhausted as I can’t find a ‘happy medium’

You just have to take enough painkillers to get the pain under control

I've just had my first flare and it was hell. Took oramorph for a week. Just tapering off now

It’s hard isn’t it I haven’t had one like this in a while and unfortunately my body doesn’t agree with strong painkillers so I have to try and find a way with minimal medicine it’s really hard just feel a bit defeated at the minute
