Hey I've taken both. I bought Serrapeptase from Holland and Barratt. I'd recommend starting with the lowest dose (80,000iu per day) to determine how it affects your body. Most women who take serrapeptase experience and increase in pain for a few weeks so bear this is mind depending on the level of daily pain you already experience. My pain levels increased by 2 or 3/10 for 2 weeks, each time I went up a dose.

I think serrapeptase is effective. I had a scar tissue, from my last excision surgery, it used to hurt every day for over 2 years. After taking serrapeptase last September for 2 weeks (80,000iu) it hasn't hurt since. I don't have endometriomas so don't have anything obvious to check for a change. It's definitely helped with pelvic pain too. I'm sure you're aware but it needs to be taken on an empty stomach and then wait for 45 minutes minimum before eating.

I buy NAC from Holland and Barratt also, got them for about 3 quid per bottle via their subscription service. I think its very effective for pelvic pain. I feel my pain is more stable /lower thanks to serrapeptase and NAC.

As both are powerful anti oxidants it's important to not start them both at the same time. Wait a few weeks between starting each.

Have you heard of Pycnogenol? x

I take different strength Serrapeptase ranging from 90.000IU till 250.000 for maybe a year now. Started last winter. Honestly, I do not notice any difference regarding pain levels. I tried different brands. But I still take it.

I take Serrapeptase few months, Serretia by Arthur Medical. If in the past I had pain every day, not it's only few days in a month. So, yes, I recommend Serrapeptase. With NAC I did not feel any changes.

Please, remember, not to take Serrapeptase with another blood thinner: no fish oil, no omega 3, no aspirin.

Good luck! ā¤

Hi I tried serraptase but it did nothing for me. I take other vitamins and supplements that help and a bio identical progesterone only cream . Problem is it all costs so I have to weigh it all up as Iā€™m on benefits due to Endo

Iā€™ve been taking just NAC for 6 months and havenā€™t really felt much of a difference to be honest. But Iā€™ve heard itā€™s great for fertility too so Iā€™ve kept taking it!

I take serrapeptase 250,000, NAC, curcumin and pine bark. Been taking them for about 2 months with the odd day of forgetting but if Iā€™m honest, I canā€™t say theyā€™ve done much regarding pain but I did have a excision lap 3 months ago. The pain is still the same as before the lap with all the supplements. Still taking them as thereā€™s a chance itā€™s post surgery pain but after 3 periods without change Im beginning to think that this is just how life is going to be.
