I'd be interested in learning about experiences with serrapeptase, nattokinase, or lumbrokinase - alone or in combination.

I've seen what happened to me reflected in some other reviews - to start with it was fine and helped a little bit, and then one day it made me unbelievably violently sick! I stopped taking it and went back to it a few weeks later with the same effect after one dose.

This happened to me too.I lowered the dose, skipped a few days went back to it and had the same reaction of getting violently sick,it was really horrible.I heard though there is a few of us who don't do well on it but I have read plenty of positive reviews on how good it is.On a certain forum, ladies had gone on to conceive successfully.Maybe you won't know till you try it.

Hiya

I was told to get Serrapeptase by a private Physio a couple of years ago after a bad fall and lower back pain. I had suffered bad pelvic and lower back pain for months and thought it was as a result of the fall but since suspect it was endo related as well (diagnosed earlier this year). It is supposed to break down scar tissue / prepare the body for faster healing after surgery (the enzyme the silkworm produces to breakdown the cocoon or something like that!). I believe the NHS have trialled it in patients before heart surgery and it’s widely used in France. I took Vitacure 250,000 - 3 times a day on empty stomach (from Amazon) and I did think it helped my lower back recovery -my physio said she could feel a difference in the scar tissue that had built up around my coccyx and she found it easier to do deeper massage (but I guess she would say that).

I didn’t have any side effects and the results may have been psychological but If it works then so what. I’d never thought of trying it pre or post lap or for endo pain but I might try it again (so thanks for the reminder!). x

Yes I’m keen to try it for endometriosis. Thanks for your story! I’m glad your back pain is better, either way! X

I tried it with no effect other than increased nausea and I took it for about a year.
