44 year old male here wondering why I'm getting night sweats and neck pain. MRIs, ct scans, colonoscopy, endoscopy, blood work is clean. Googling it came up with the C word. I called my doctor to get this checked immediately but it seems like they want to take their time. I'm ready to go to the ER. Please let me know if you had this experience. Thank you

I don't think you'll find much info on this particular forum as it's for endometriosis (a painful, debilitating, multi-symptomatic, often misdiagnosed, disease that only women get).
I would try avoiding all sugar within the 2 hours before bedtime, including sugary drinks & alcohol. Perhaps switch round your largest meal of the day so it's either breakfast or lunch & have a small dinner, no later than 7pm. Try a strict lactose free (the sugar component in milk) diet for a couple of weeks - you might be surprised at how generally ill lactose can make you feel if you have an intolerance. Lactase enzyme prouduction reduces with age, therefore, so does lactose tolerance.
I get your symptoms, but I have an MRI diagnosis of cervical spinal stenosis & my stomach & night sweat issues are probably endometriosis related (impacted by diet) - the above advice does help me personally, but as you're a man, things may well be very different.
Thank you for your time and advice. I'm talking to my doctor today. I'm going to demand a back and neck MRI. Such strange symptoms and I'm one of those people that needs to check off all the boxes. Sometimes these doctors will tell you it's not necessary or something? What's up with that? Anyway I'm going to actually take your advice and see if my doctor can relate to what your saying because it makes sense to me.
My doctor rarely listens to me and actually had me drinking pints of cow's milk each day to "cure" my irritated stomach... Made me so deathly ill. Once I decided to cut out lactose, I got hugely better within 2 weeks, after years of being very unwell. Hopefully yours is a bit more understanding 😅!
Let me know how things go, it'd be great to see if things improve for you.
I'll definitely keep you posted. I'm tired of being sick. These doctors take their time with these appointments as if you're only struggling with something minor. Everyday feels like week to me. I will let you know what happens. Thank you!
