Just wondered if anyone had suffered any problems with their stomach with endometriosis. For those who don’t know my story I’ve got a very likely diagnosis but haven’t had a laparoscopy to confirm yet as they’re trying to manage symptoms without.
Over the last week or so I’ve become really bloated with (apologies for too much info) some constipation and feeling a lot more full of wind than normal. It comes and goes in waves and I just wondered if anyone had experienced the same! I do suffer with left sided abdominal pain often which they think is where the endometriosis is.
Thank you!

Yes, I have severe endometriosis that has infiltrated my bowel, so I am always bloated/gassy/constipated. I also get nauseous a lot! I think a lot of people on here have similar symptoms, so you are absolutely not alone, but im sorry you're having to go through it!
I would speak to the GP about investigating gastro-intestinal issues like IBS or an IBD. Endo specialists and gynaecologists aren't trained in thatsystem, so can't easily identify anything that might be wrong. Mine was identified through an MRI, which might be worth doing, but endo often doesn't turn up on an MRI- it can only be officially diagnosed or ruled out through a laparoscopy. Even in my case, the endo specialists still downplay the intestinal side even though the gastro specialists have told them how bad it is.
I have the same problems, i was actually concerned i had IBS as i have all the symptoms. I have a mixture of loose and constipation and its a nightmare, it gives me really bad back pain that gets progressively worse and i have had a colonscopy due to now having bleeding from the back passage, quite extensive bleeding and they have told me its all fine. I know it isnt- and im 100% sure i have endo even though they haven't diagnosed it. But the stomach problems are my main probelms dat to day and then they get ALOT worse when its my time of the month.
yes ive always suffered with constipation im lucky if i go once a week, they told me i had ibs for years they did a camera in my bowel a year or 2 ago and told me i have diverticulitis but a couple of weeks ago a had a cystoscopy and they found endometriosis in my bladder but i havent seen a gynae yet waiting for an app so dont kow what stage its at or where else it is, sorry i cant be more helpful i hope u get sorted
