Endrometriosis stage 4 and passing mucus

Hi everyone,

I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, my bowel and rectum are affected . I pass lots of mucus with or without blood. It’s worse before and during my period. I wondered if anyone else had similar symptoms?

yes I get this too! But if you haven’t got it checked out ya need do a poo sample at the GP

Sorry I can't help much as I don't know why but I am having the same no blood but mucus and string, don't know it it is connected to Endo as an MRI didn't show my bowel being affected. I'm interested to see the replies.

Yes I get this around my period too. Used to think it was ibs but now I know its bowel endo.

I think it’s from Endo, I also feel fatigue when I pass mucus. I think it’s when my immune systems is trying to get rid of endo but it obviously can’t

Hiya, yes I get mucus too with brown blood at the start of a period. My gynaecologist said this can happen with bowel endometriosis. Stage 4 here too x

hun I get a lot of mucus and blood from my bowel I did do a sample and had blood found in bowel sample and have had a colonoscopy but nothing was found but still have all those symptoms.

Yes I have this too and I have endometriosis on the bladder and rectum, I get a lot of mucous very stringy like too all month long

Hi, thanks for your reply! It’s awful ! when I get the mucus I feel so fatigue too. I feel bloated, lots of mucus and trapped gas and pain! ☹️

Hi lovely, yes I had this symptom for years! Lots of blood and mucus, I had bowel Endo operation back in May and it’s completely stopped. Hope you get the help you need ❤️ happy to chat if you have any questions x
